I Break The News

While we are impatiently waiting for the new season of 'Stranger Things' to arrive on Netflix, we are almost equally as excited about the Pop-Up store based on the show.  For a limited time only, you can feel like you are back in the 80's in Hawkins, Indiana. If you are in NYC you can find the store at 7th Avenue and 42nd street. Right next to Times Square. Once you are there you can:  sit on a retro bike,  hear 80's songs, personalize your own Stranger Things items, walk through Will's chaotic living room, play some games at the arcade and even  take a picture with the Demogorgon . We would probably just get a keychain or a hoodie but we would definitely take lots of photos for this Blog. Check out the video below for some impressions: Live stream January 17 2022 by  Live Walking NYC Live Walking NYC all photos  © Stranger Things Store

Mark Ronson ft Bruno Mars - Uptown Funk Warning: THIS will make you dance ! What do you get when you put together an old school funk beat and a talented, soulful artist like Bruno Mars ? A super addicting HIT song! Mark Ronson had the right instinct and we want to thank him for that. 'Uptown Funk' will keep you singing along for 1 hour if you put it on repeat. To be honest with you, we were already concerned about the current state of music, thankfully something like this is still coming along in 2015. Amazing also, for getting ready before going out. You're welcome! ;) (image via vimeo )

You would think if anybody in the world is all FOR NEW TECHNOLOGY it must be a Decepticon . WRONG! The ever surviving Transformers villain has a strict 'no selfie' policy as you can see and hear in the video above. The clip was recorded very recently, at the Universal Studios in Hollywood. When Alexandra Trew (pretty fearlessly) approached the outspoken mean robot, he had some choice words for here! He said: 'You will not receive a selfie so long as you stand before me with your ridiculous furred hoodie! When will you learn that your status updates mean zero-to-nothing to anyone, ever! It doesn’t matter which social network you post it on — worthless! Use your mind, create new memories, interact, don’t just add it to a library of forgotten photographs! Ugh, how disappointing your generation is.' Well, if she just takes a screenshot of the right moment in her video we would say: Technically - SELFIE achieved! :))) And how often do you really me...

Kuroshio Sea from Jon Rawlinson on Vimeo . So amazing - we must share! This video by Jon Rawlinson , captures "Kuroshio Sea", the imposing 2nd largest aquarium tank in the world. It is part of the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium in Japan and 35 metres long, 27 metres wide and 10 metres deep. This clip will leave you in awe of the variety of marine creatures, their size and their movements under water. Even though we are normally not supporters of animals being held in captivity, these days it seems like it might be a safer environment than some areas of the open sea. If you are having a stressful day or just forgot for 1 minute about the miracle, that is nature - you MUST watch it! ..and full screen. :)

We can not give too much away because this is a video clip but you just HAVE TO TRUST US on this one! Watch it. Some Germans came up with this? Good job. Click on the photo above if you have 2 minutes of time to fill. We agree with the message of the clip . (PS. Do not watch it if you are a child and/or are very sensitive.) (photo via wemissyou.de )

If you have some time off and want to learn something useful, quick and simply explained, check out the many Do-It-Yourself videos on YouTube . From "How To Make A French Braid" over "How To Re-decorate Your Room" to "How To Print Your Own Graphic Tee" - there are many interesting clips to choose from.  The best part, is that topics/things are often explained by people who know what they are talking about AND watching a YouTube video is FREE. So what do you have to lose? Ok, maybe an hour or two because you can't stop watching and learning more!
