I Break The News

Hello there! Welcome back to your favorite Blog. Now that cinemas are open again (hopefully where you are too) it is time for an action packed evening. And the sweet popcorn I am so fond of! ☺️ Spiderman - No Way Home is in theatres now. Anything for a colorful distraction from our current reality as this year is coming to an end. Time for the best Spiderman actor so far - in our opinion.  Tom Holland, Zendaya and Jacob Batalon  Tom Holland and Zendaya are so cute together, while doing the promotional rounds with Jacob Batalon, who is Spidey's best friend Ned in the trilogy. No spoilers here but be ready for more than just your regular 1 villain appearance. This is like a super villain meet-up. This is a genius idea. Take the superhero out of the dangerous situations, the crowded battlefields and away from the evil super villain just to put him somewhere nice, a place in nature where it is peaceful, calm and quiet. This way our hero can reflect on his own life, far away from the trouble, he can think about his future, childhood, his upcoming lunch and maybe also all of his accomplishments so far.  French photographer Benoit Lapray named his project  The Quest for the Absolute .  This in itself could be the title for a new super hero action adventure - of course in 3D ! Here is a part of the description behind the idea: ' [Benoit]  captures and freezes the moment during which the famous vigilantes are not in the action and presents them here as lonely beings who wander in nearly deserted landscapes.' There will be a Vernissage of his work in December in Paris .  For more information and the option to order a limited edition print of...

Everybody loves the new movie 'Legend' with Tom Hardy in a double leading role! Well, almost everybody but you can barely tell. On the poster above, you can see how many stars the movie was able to score with all the main UK newspapers and magazines. Only The Guardian was not too impressed by it obviously = 2 stars. Unfortunately, we can not tell you if the film is good or not because we have not been invited to the 'Legend' press view.. :) So, to whomever put this ad together we can only say one thing: Well played. Speaking of Tom Hardy, do you know the great movie 'Warrior' that he was in? Nick Nolte was in it as well and until now, we still don't get how he could not score an Oscar  for his stellar performance - he was amazing! To see new movie posters with Nick Nolte only as an 'Academy Award Nominee' is something we think is just not right, after a career/performance like this. We also think Tom Hardy has great acting skills...

Sad news: As you probably know by now, accomplished comedic actor, Hollywood Superstar & Oscar winner Robin Williams has passed away. He left behind a legacy of inspiring, often thoughtful yet highly entertaining films, which have moved and inspired people around the world for many decades now.   Our absolute favorites are: Hook and Jumanji ! The sensitivity and charm Robin Williams added to each and every character he was portraying, was his special gift. It is a big loss but we can be thankful, that this remarkable and funny actor shared his talent and left something amazing behind, for all of us. (photo via Fanpop.com )
