>> From Office Hours to Creative Hours ๐ŸŽจ How Changing Places Made Space for New Projects again! ๐Ÿชผ

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a good day. Didn't I tell you this blog is about sea turtles? :D You know, whatever phase in life we are currently in, it is always good to ask ourselves: what do I have time for now that I previously did not have? When I was living in London up until recently, my office job took up most of my hours. There was still some time for creativity, but not a lot. Since I am currently in Germany, that is different. As you may have seen on this blog, I now have time for all kinds of creative projects and I think you could say I am definitely diving in. Which brings me to the latest one. I would like to call this one multi-dimensional because it has elements of storytelling, illustration, learning, inventing and community building.  I often think it really helps if you love the creative project you are currently working on and you can't wait to share it. Since it is not complete, I can only share a part of it with you today, but it is a good start....

>> If This Is True, Einstein Must Have Had a Limited Social Life – Why Society Resents Intelligence.. ๐Ÿ’ก

Hello everyone, Welcome back to your favorite blog about science and societal norms. Can you believe it is already April? Today, we want to shine a light on the connection between intelligence and one’s social life with this YouTube recommendation. I just brought up Einstein (once again) because he is such a great example of a high IQ. In the video below, we can learn about the link between being very smart and being avoided for exactly that reason. However, if you are a sapiosexual, you won't have a problem with intelligence at all — quite the opposite, in fact. ๐Ÿ™‚ While watching this, you might think that being a clever person is harder because you constantly think about things that never even come to mind for the vast majority of people. But as we hear towards the end of the video it is all getting easier, once you find or build a likeminded tribe.  A quote I read somewhere before and found interesting is that 'everyone you meet knows something you don't know.' So if...

>> International News: Excuse me MALF - I am slightly offended by this! ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Thank you for this important lesson Prof. Dr. Malf. As a German I feel mildly offended yet also very entertained by this content. You can also look it up under 'When Americans Move To Germany'. In our defence I must say, this can happen in any smaller town, I believe. However, I am grateful for this valuable lesson and will take it into consideration. This is memorable content. ๐Ÿ˜Š #glance

>> ๐Ÿ“š The IBTN Audiobook Club ๐Ÿ”ŠRecommendation November 2021: 'WILL' The Life And Times Of Will Smith

Image
Hello everyone and welcome back to your favorite Blog about life, creativity, news and books! And to another instalment of the IBTN Audiobook Club. Originally, I wanted to buy 'Will' in paperback format to read it, but because it is so new, it was just released in the beginning of November 2021, delivery would have been in a few weeks here in Germany. This is why I decided to go with the audiobook instead, which was available to get and listen to right away. After a few chapters in, I am actually glad it turned out that way, because I think you would miss out if you would only read the book instead of getting to hear the life story of Will Smith as told by Will Smith! That is pretty cool. Not some narrator - no. Will is telling his own story personally! From his upbringing in Philadelphia, to his first steps in the music industry and some show business tales about the TV and movie biz in Hollywood in the early 90's. This (audio)book will take you there! Will Smith in the su...
