I Break The News

You know what? Since three days it is officially Spring! Trust me - I have googled it. :) To celebrate the occasion, we want to introduce you to an Instagram artist, who knows a thing or two about flowers. Bridget Beth Collins is a self proclaimed Botanical artist , painter, writer, nature lover and light seeker. Her creations will light up your day if you decide to follow her instagram account .  Based in Seattle, Bridget who has 3 little boys and is wife to a coder husband, describes her project Flora Forageras as 'a product of my love affair with glittering nature, and my own artistic skills honed over the years. Creation and Creator combined.' If you just can not get enough of these stunning florals, there is the option of buying an original from the artist on her website . Inspirational! Hello there! We are back from our little autumn break, with a delightful recommendation for you. If you are constantly on Instagram, to gaze at the most delicious food snaps around and adore treats that are not just super tasty but also a big load of eye candy, you should follow Gastroart . :) Almost 40.000 followers already love this foodie favorite . If you want to switch up your breakfast routine, this might be the ideal thing for you. Click here , to see all the available roasted images. If you always wanted a picture of yourself on toast , don't look any further - they offer that too! But it will cost EXTRA! Find the Selfie toaster HERE . (all images © burntimpressions.com )

Food artists - this Blog needs more food artists! :) Today we want to put the spotlight on talented Malaysian artist and architect Hong Yi, who mostly goes by the nickname Red Hong Yi and already has many fans online. She is able to create beautiful images, with food that you probably have in your fridge too.   We like her creations, because they are so positive and uplifting . Red Hong's favorite themes are nature, animals and pop culture. She is also the one, who created a portrait of Jackie Chan entirely made out of chopsticks ! If you want to see more inspiring (food) art, her Instagram will be of high interest to you! (all photos © Red Hong Yi )

Lee Samantha is what we would call a food artist! The Malaysian stay-at-home mom started with her creations about 5 years ago. Little did she know, what kind of BUZZ , her work would draw upon her later.  And when we say later - we mean NOW! What started as a way of making food more exciting for her 2 daughters, developed into a career as kids party planner . Her instagram and facebook are also widely popular! Using scissors, knives and toothpicks as her tools, she 'likes to make something practical, something for everyone to be able to follow.' And she means it! On her blog , you can find a step by step instruction on how to do it too! Just don't expect perfection on your first try, as these kind of astonishing results will take some practice. Click HERE for the food art GALLERY ! (all artwork © Lee Samantha )
