I Break The News

Hello everybody. Positivity is what this Blog is all about and if there is a new Disney movie on the horizon, we might as well report about it. 'Beauty A nd The Beast' received a high tech update recently! The lovely Emma Watson aka Hermione aka UN Women Goodwill Ambassador is going to take on the leading role of Belle, while 'Downton Abbey' actor Dan Stevens will star as the fluffy, yet scary beast. Luke E vans will embody the vai n villain Gaston. Honestly, Christmas would be the perfect release date for this movie we think, but we have to wait until the 17th of March 2017 for this re-imagining of an absolute classic to hit the big screen. The trailer looks promising , dark, enchanting and filled with the latest visual effects. You know, we w ould recognize these 'Twilight' werewolves anywhere and they make a cameo too. We are truly looking forward to see this film in 3D! ✮ all images © Disney

Movie recommendation alert ! If you should have missed out on  Zootopia  so far, you should go and see it now. It is an uplifting and clever film that includes a lot of family fun. The story evolves around the ambitious, young rabbit Judy Hopps , who has always dreamed of and later worked hard on becoming a police officer. She has to overcome many critics and obstacles along the way.. Will she succeed? Why are there so many cases of missing animals in the city and what are the real intentions of Nick the Fox ? Our personal favorite is Flash the Sloth - watch the movie and/or trailer to find out why.. Perfectly timed for Easter, the name of Disney's latest animated gem is Zootopia, Zoomania or Zootropolis, depending on your geographical location. In cinemas now - available mostly everywhere.(if you are lucky they still have it in 3D!)

This morning the hashtag #PizzaRat took over Twitter! What was this about? Just a video posted on YouTube, that shows a NYC subway rat pulling a slice of Pizza down the stairs with all its might! On a side note we want to say - yes NYC subway rats are real and it is not a joyful encounter to meet one of them at night when you and the rat are the only 2 beings on the platform. :) So why is this old news? Because rats love good food and we know that not just since Disney's Ratatouille came out years ago. Remy the lead rat does not only like an amazing meal, he also knows how to create it! #Talented. Based on our experience, yes NYC pizza IS the best pizza we ever had!  If you are in New York, try  Artichoke Pizza at 328 E 14th St . Soo good! We recommend it! :) #RatFREE photos  ©  Disney Ratatouille & Robert Alexandre

'Cinderellas's New Day' Oh what we have found for YOU today! Las Vegas based artist Heather Theurer , is not just a big Disney fan and a mother of five, she is also a very gifted painter. Like we're in a different time.. These enchanting oil paintings take us way back, to an era, dominated by artists that still put a lot of effort, months and maybe even years into their craft. 'The Elegant Warrior' 'Ohana Means Family' Based on her biography, Heather's paintings are 'the product of decades of observation of people, of environments, of animals and of textiles.' She has her own website , where you can see all the things she has been working on. Her artwork is also featured on DisneyFineArt.com . Go there now, if you have the intention, to call one of her original motifs your own. Magical! 'Her Father's Daughter' (all artwork © Heather Theurer )

Except Ariel, she is still a mermaid! Finnish artist and multifaceted designer Jirka Vinse Jonatan Väätäinen   did something really cool! He gave our favorite Disney Princesses a real-life make over and as you may have expected, all of his creations, turned out to be amazingly beautiful. While Belle seems a bit skeptical, Rapunzel looks like she also played the main role in 'Mamma Mia'! :) To see more of Jirka's Disney related work, click HERE . If you want to take a look at the entire portfolio of this already pretty accomplished, talented young artist, here is the LINK.   (all images © Jirka Vinse Jonatan Väätäinen )

You just can not get enough of Grumpy Cat ! We know that - so we give you some more! :) WE just can not get enough of Disney movies. Preferably, ending with the Prince rescuing the Princess and also learning what is right from wrong in the process. American digital artist Eric Proctor now successfully blended the two! Here, Grumpy Cat is adding a bit of negative attitude to the happy, positive world of Disney and a completely unexpected plot twist to the story. Check out how the feline is cutting off Flynn Rider in the picture below! If you like this clash of the worlds, you can find a few more fantastic Grumpy/Disney mix-ups at tsaoshin.deviantart.com Enjoy! (all artwork © Eric Proctor )

Bad Apple - Design By Stephanie Sanchez Let's face it - a Disney movie would never be complete without the villain. That evil creature you just love to hate. Sadly enough for THEM they won't make it all the way to the ( h appy) end.  If you think, enough of the good guys already and want to represent your dark si d e - g o right ahead to the T-Shirt web store of the Disney Villains !!
