I Break The News

Hello there and welcome back here. Today I have something special for you. As you may or may not know, I am a creative person which also includes being a singer and songwriter. Returning to my truest self is also returning to music. I have not recorded anything in 5 years but because I had some time this year, I took on this project. I produced a remix of the final AUDITION in the movie La La Land. One of the best movies EVER MADE! :D  Even though, I have been creative in different ways over the years, music had to take a back seat. You experience a few setbacks and disappointments and are supposed to grow up/get over/forget/deny your dreams?! A dream of self expression and creating something new.  It is a sensitive yet very meaningful topic to me. In my younger years I knew it was my calling. You try to figure out how to combine your calling with your occupation. The question from the outside world is, why and what is it good for if it does not secure your income? T...

Hey there my dear readers! Thank you for coming back to my Blog. You are amaaazing and always welcome here! So I've quit updating my instagram at the end of 2018 and what can I say, much less brain fog. Much less distraction. I've also deleted the app because my phone is full to the top, so my Blog is really the only source of updates you can get about this creative world traveler, Editor-in-Chief, Singer/Songwriter. 💁‍♀️ There are 2 new things I am doing but I have been told by an expert, to focus on one thing at a time to not be all over the place. So I want to give these projects and my schedule some structure to organize my time. :)  If you are wondering what I have been up to lately, I have recently been working on a new project in London and now I am about to fly to Germany for the holidays. I even got a window seat without any additional charges! Danke. 11 and me! :) There are a lot of things going on, some good, some not so good. Isn't it l...

cordless hair straightener Hello my dear readers! Thank you for frequently checking my Blog even though I have been on a little break, due to my move to Canada. Now I am back with a hopefully helpful article for you - The IBreakTheNews Gift Guide!   🎁  It is that time of the year again when you are clueless what to get for that special person in your life. Don't worry, we are here to bring you a little last minute inspiration. You're welcome! 1. Cordless Hair Straightener: I can not believe how far ahead I am in the hair straightening game and I yet have to meet one other person who upgraded themselves to the use of a wireless/cordless hair straightener! It was in mid-2016 when it came to my mind how useful such an invention would be. When I googled it I found out that it already exists and that it was available on eBay Germany so bought it right away. Everybody who ever straightened their hair with a regular straightener knows, how annoying an...

Alexanderplatz - Berlin Zentrum Hello dear readers and a Happy New Year 2016 to you! May you have a year full of clarity, joy and memorable moments. As you might have noticed, I took a little break from the blog but now here I am - back again. Today I want to share a little travel adventure via plane, train and even bus, with you. In December I took my annual Christmas break and went to my hometown in East Germany. As always family time is my main priority but this time there was something else on the holiday schedule too - a 3 day trip to Berlin ! Let's just ignore the fact that I was living there for 1 year in 2006, because a few things have changed and I was able to re-visit the capital from the perspective of a tourist.  We wanted to make full use of our time in Berlin, so we had to make sure to find a place as close to the center as possible.   We found a very nice, small and inexpensive flat from which you could even see the TV to...

Apparently, I'm in the wrong country.. because here it will probably be rather difficult to get my hands on the three new limited edition M&M's   flavors 'Hot Chocolate', 'White Peppermint' and 'Cafe Mocha' , which have just been released in America. As a special treat for the upcoming Christmas season, you can find them at your local Walmart and Target. Hot Chocolate comes in white and brown M&M's, White Peppermint in red and white and Cafe Mocha will delight you in the Christmas colors green and red . I had the intention, to eat less chocolate because for some reason my clothes are getting tighter.. but I realize this time of the year is not the ideal starting point. Maybe we are lucky and can try them here in London too. all photos  © Mars
